The overall goal of the Community Advisory Board is to work with the Partnership PIs and Core leaders to further increase SDSU’s cancer research capacities and expand SDSU’s and UCSD’s emphasis on cancer health disparities research. Specific responsibilities include:

• Contribute to quarterly conference calls with CREATE Partnership leadership.
• Participation in at least one in-person annual meeting with other CAB members to help guide CREATE's community-engaged activities.
• Making recommendations for CREATE Partnership priorities, identifying new opportunities, and program adjustments.
• Guiding evaluation of current and proposed research projects.
• Assessing the commitment of the institutional leadership to the Partnership and its faculty members
